honda jazz hybrid 2011



The hybrid version of Honda
Jazz makes its debut at the
Paris Motor Show this week.
This new launch by Honda is
innovative petrol cum electric
variant with the IMA system
which retains practical
characteristics which were
found in the supermini. This
new Jazz is lower in terms of
emissions and has an
improved performance in
terms of fuel economy.

Some of the advantages this
new Jazz is associated with
are:

The first B-segment car in the
world having hybrid
technology.
There has been no
compromise in respect of
features and practicality of
the standard Jazz
It includes the previous
flexible Magic Seats the boot
space is the same with 831
litres capacity
It has an improved fuel
economy offering up to 64.2
miles/gallon

The hybrid Jazz has the same
1.3 litre i-VTEC engine like the
Insight hybrid.

Despite the
taller body shape this new car
is similar in the levels of CO2
emissions of 104 g/km which is
around 21g/km less than the
present lowest emitting 1.2
litre petrol Jazz.

With the environmental
benefits attached to the car
the cleaner emissions also
accounts for more affordable
driving also. The owners of
this vehicle get an exempt of
road tax for the 1st year and
just £20 then onwards.

Similar to the Insight & Civic
Hybrid models, this hybrid
variant of Jazz is capable of
running alone by the electric
motor alone.

This hybrid variant gets
unveiled at the Paris Motor
show which is goin to be in the
showrooms by early 2011
